Arjuna: Contested for president of Board for Cricket Control in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) and miserably lost even without getting his own club’s (SSC) vote
Sarath: Contesting for presidential election under the support of UNP, JVP, SLMC, WPF, LF etc. Defeat is to be officially confirmed
