There was a photograph of Namal Rajapaksha and three other persons circulated on email claiming one of them was Emil Kanthan, who is claimed to be an LTTE operative.
This photo has also been used by Anura Dissanayake, MP of JVP to discredit the Government and to tarnish the image of Namal Rajapaksa.
An expert in depth digital forensic analysis of this photograph has revealed beyond any doubt that the said purported photograph is a doctored photograph where Emil Kanthan’s face has been superimposed using commonly available software.
